Abstract

On the 37th day of my teaching practice, the school celebrated Teacher’s Day. I had one period during the sixth hour, where I engaged the students with the lesson Rhombuses from Bisectors. I used a chart to illustrate the concept, making it easier for students to understand. The school day concluded at 4:15 p.m. On 38th day of my teaching practice was simple. During the 4th hour, which was a substitution period, I conducted an achievement test for the class. As part of our B.Ed curriculum, on the 35th day of our teaching practice, I designed an engaging lesson plan on ‘Addition and Subtraction’ from the chapter ‘New Numbers’ to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I began the class by checking the students’ previous knowledge and then conducted a game-based activity consisting of two rounds. The students were divided into groups for better participation. In the first round, they placed tokens on the correct numbers on a number line based on the given puzzle questions. In the second round, they played with two colored dice, calculated the results, and placed them on the number line.
