International Seminar on AI in education 28/07/2025- 30/07/2025



Day 1
The seminar began with a warm inaugural session that created a lively, thoughtful atmosphere. Dr. Pramod Dinakar set the tone with his keynote address, highlighting the ethical, philosophical, and policy concerns around AI in education. He encouraged educators to adopt a mindful and balanced approach when using technology in the classroom.

Following this, Dr. Nicholaus Mrindoko led a powerful session on “Transforming Education with AI.” His talk focused on how AI can support innovative teaching while keeping students at the heart of learning. His ideas sparked curiosity and inspired participants to think critically about how AI can be ethically and effectively integrated into everyday teaching practices.


Day 2
Day two explored how AI is transforming academic research. Dr. Harikrishnan M led an engaging session titled “AI and the Research Ecosystem: From Discovery to Dissemination,” highlighting how AI tools can help with literature reviews, data handling, and sharing research more efficiently.

The session gave participants a fresh perspective on AI’s role beyond teaching. It sparked curiosity about how these tools can support smarter, faster research and make knowledge-sharing more effective across academic spaces.

Day 3

The final day brought a hands-on and highly practical session by Dr. Subin K. S., Director of EDUSTAT Research Centre. His talk, “AI-Assisted Statistical Data Analysis with EDUSTAT,” gave participants a clear look at how AI can make complex data analysis easier and more accessible—especially for educators and researchers working with educational data.

The day also featured the much-anticipated paper presentation competition, where participants showcased fresh, creative research on AI in education. The seminar wrapped up on a high note with a reflective valedictory speech by Prof. (Dr.) Issac Paul and the presentation of the Younus Kunju Memorial Excellence Award, honoring academic innovation and a passion for discovery.
