Creative practice on "A well educated mind vs A well formed mind

On August 30th, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, hosted a creative practice session on the theme "A Well Educated Mind vs. A Well Formed Mind." The session featured a screening of a TED Talk by Sri Shashi Tharoor, who discussed the distinctions between education and character formation. Tharoor argued that a well-educated mind is characterized by knowledge acquisition and intellectual development, while a well-formed mind integrates values, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. He argued that education alone is insufficient if it doesn't cultivate wisdom, empathy, and a sense of responsibility towards society.
