Independence day 🇮🇳

On August 15, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College (FMTC) in Mylapore celebrated Independence Day with enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with a ceremonial flag hoisting by Sri. Shajahan Younus, Chairman of the Fathima Memorial Educational Trust. Students and faculty sang the national anthem, and Dr. Lakshmy Natarajan, Principal, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of freedom, responsibility, and education in shaping the nation's future. Cultural performances by students showcased patriotic songs, traditional dances, and skits, evoking pride and nostalgia.

Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness.
