National space day celebration @FMTC


On August 23, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, celebrated National Space Day by screening an informative video about India's Chandrayaan mission. The video provided a detailed overview of the mission's objectives, launch history, and achievements, including the successful landing on the Moon's south pole. It showcased the intricate technology and teamwork involved in this landmark endeavor, sparking pride among students. Following the video presentation, selected students presented brief summaries of the mission's essence and contributions to science and technology, discussing key milestones and potential implications for future lunar exploration. The event not only educated students about India's space research but also encouraged them to pursue STEM careers, fostering enthusiasm for space exploration and the importance of scientific inquiry.
