NSS inauguration Day

On September 26, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, inaugurated its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The event was filled with enthusiasm and inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of service and community engagement among students. NSS Day inauguration

On September 24, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, celebrated National Service Scheme (NSS) Day with a program focusing on community service and environmental awareness. The college organized a campus-wide cleaning drive, involving volunteers, faculty, and students, to improve campus aesthetics and instill responsibility for maintaining a clean environment. Following the cleaning, NSS volunteers conducted a community outreach program, visiting residents' homes to discuss waste management practices and environmental conservation. The students also distributed sweets to local residents, demonstrating the college's commitment to educating students and positively impacting the community.

On September 21, 2024, Kollam Beach hosted a beach cleaning initiative as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The event, organized by the NSS unit of Fatima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, involved local volunteers and community members. The program was inaugurated by Kollam district collector, Sri. Devidas N IAS, who emphasized the importance of cleanliness and sustainable practices. The event also included educational sessions on plastic pollution and the need for sustainable waste management. Our college organized onam celebration for 2days. Shravana Shri was name of onam celebration. On 1st day it was all about games related to onam and i have won 2nd prize in one of games. The day was too enjoyable all games are to entertaining also seniors haven sang a beautiful vanchipattu. On 2nd day we all came to collage in kerala traditional saree. A beautiful flower mat was spreaded infront of the corridors we all waited for our chief guest to came after they came the lamp was lighten the program begin with mega thiruvathira then we had a good kerala sadhya later malayali manga performance we carried out after announcing the winner. We all went downstairs for vadamvalli that was the end of program  Overall the todays of program was too blissfull

ONAM KIT DISTRIBUTION BY NSS UNIT OF FMTC

Today our  college fmtc mylapore celebrated  Teachers day. The guest of the event was Dr Seema.K.Nayar who was retired proffosor of TKM engineering college, she shared her experience as teacher and her academic life. It was inspiring. She ingaurated the cermony Then our principal Dr Laksmy Nataraj sang some chants it was too peacful. Then teachers shared about the teachers whom inspired and motivated them. Then there was some dance performance from our batch  after that the event concluded
