ONAM KIT DISTRIBUTION BY NSS UNIT OF FMTC

On September 10, 2024, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Fathima Memorial Training College (FMTC) in Mylapore organized a heartwarming event to distribute Onam kits to underprivileged families during the festive season of Onam. Under the guidance of NSS Programme Coordinator Smt. Bincy Sain, students and faculty members actively participated in gathering and assembling the kits, which included essential food items and festive treats. The event aimed to provide physical assistance and foster a sense of community and compassion among participants. The volunteers greeted each family with smiles, sharing words of encouragement and spreading festive cheer. The Onam kit distribution was a successful and enriching experience, exemplifying the spirit of giving and the importance of supporting those less fortunate during festive occasions. The NSS unit of FMTC Mylapore made a positive impact on families' lives and instilled values of kindness and service among students.

Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness.
