NSS inauguration Day
On September 26, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, inaugurated its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The event was filled with enthusiasm and inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of service and community engagement among students. The event began with a welcome dance performance, followed by a welcome address by Principal Dr. Lakshmy Natarajan, who emphasized the NSS program's role in fostering responsibility among students. Chairman of Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, Sri Shajahan Younus, expressed his support for the NSS initiative, encouraging students to participate in community service activities. Dr. Anzer RN, the State NSS Officer of the Government of Kerala, praised the college's commitment to social service and urged students to embrace values of empathy, leadership, and teamwork. The event also featured a felicitation ceremony honoring Dr. Hashimudeen A. and Smt. Anupama M R.
