Workshop on teaching communicative English

On August 2, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, held a workshop on "The Art of Teaching Communicative English." Joseph Varghese, a seasoned Communicative English Trainer, delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of equipping teachers with the right tools and techniques to effectively teach communicative English. He emphasized the need for a supportive and interactive classroom environment where students feel comfortable practicing their language skills. Varghese sir also introduced innovative teaching strategies, such as real-life scenarios, role-playing, and interactive discussions, to make learning more relatable and enjoyable for students. His insights were essential in understanding the profound impact of communicative English in today's globalized world.

Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness.
