Christmas-New year Celebration @Anandhatheeram punarathivasa kendram

On December 19th, 2024, the NSS team from Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, celebrated Christmas and New Year with the residents of Anandhatheeram Punarathivasa Kendram, Chathanoor. The event began at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome address by Bincy Sain, the NSS coordinator, followed by a presidential address by Shajahan Younus. Anupama Miss, Sreekala Miss, and Karthika delivered a special Christmas message, setting a festive tone for the day. The celebration featured a variety of activities, including a cake-cutting ceremony, gift exchange, carol songs, and dance performances. The children from Punarathivasa Kendram actively participated, showcasing their talents and adding to the joyous atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the event was the Kaserakali competition, won by Unnikuttan, which allowed the children to display their creativity and enthusiasm. The celebration was a heartwarming experience, as everyone came together to forget their difficulties and embrace the spirit of the season. It served as a beautiful reminder of the importance of spreading love, joy, and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. The event not only brought smiles to the faces of the residents but also reinforced the values of compassion and community that define the holiday season.

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness.
