Fmtc Mylapore Arts festival 2025 (Tharanga)



Our college FMTC Mylapore, celebrated its Arts Day on February 24-25, a two-day extravaganza that showcased the vibrant talents of its students. The students were divided into three groups - Mandakini, Kaveri, and Alakananda - and participated in a wide range of cultural programs, including group and individual performances. The events featured an array of traditional and contemporary items, such as Thiruvathira, Nadan Pattu, Vanchipattu, Margamkali, Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Oppana, folk dance, classical music, western song, group song, film song, skit, and group dance.



In addition to the cultural programs, literary competitions were also held a week prior to the Arts Day celebration. These competitions included a range of events, such as drawing, painting, essay writing, poetry writing, collage, and poster making. The Arts Day celebration was a testament to the college's rich cultural heritage and the students' boundless energy and creativity.

Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness. The inaugural session ended with felicitations and a warm vote of thanks by Krishna Sree. The afternoon and evening sessions deepened the experience. Day 1 The seminar began with a warm inaugural session that created a lively, thoughtful atmosphere.
