On May 21, 2025, our college hosted a significant NSS orientation program, featuring Dr. Gopakumar G, a distinguished former NSS District Coordinator. The event provided students with valuable insights into the National Service Scheme's mission and community-focused initiatives, highlighting its impact on fostering social responsibility. Through Dr. Gopakumar's expertise, students gained a deeper understanding of NSS's objectives and its role in promoting community service.

Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness. The inaugural session ended with felicitations and a warm vote of thanks by Krishna Sree. The afternoon and evening sessions deepened the experience. Day 1 The seminar began with a warm inaugural session that created a lively, thoughtful atmosphere. Dr. Pramod Dinakar set the tone with his keynote address, highlighting the ethical, philosophical, and policy concerns around AI in education. He encouraged educators to adopt a mindful and balanced approach when using technology in the classroom. Following this, Dr. Nicholaus Mrindoko led a powerful session on “Transforming Education with AI.” His talk focused on how AI can support innovative teaching while keeping students at the heart of learning.
