Held at the college campus and Nakshatra Vanam, Children’s Park, Kollam, the event began at 11 AM and carried the powerful theme “Save Planet, Ditch Plastic.” The celebration featured sapling planting and meaningful conversations around sustainability, aiming to inspire small actions for lasting environmental change. Community living camp 💫 Sahasrayam

✨ Sahasrayam 2025 Day 1 Fathima Memorial Training College held a five-day community camp, Sahasrayam, blending learning with service. The event opened with a prayer by Sreelekshmi and a welcome by Vice Principal Anupama Miss. Principal Dr. Omana Sheelan highlighted the value of such camps in shaping socially responsible teachers. MLA Vishnunadh inaugurated the camp, inspiring students with his words and even a song. Adding flavor, the students hosted Samrudhya, a Payasam Mela featuring a variety of payasams that reflected teamwork and togetherness. The inaugural session ended with felicitations and a warm vote of thanks by Krishna Sree. The afternoon and evening sessions deepened the experience. Dr. Pramod Dinakar set the tone with his keynote address, highlighting the ethical, philosophical, and policy concerns around AI in education. He encouraged educators to adopt a mindful and balanced approach when using technology in the classroom.
