Teaching practice week 5
On the 16th day of my teaching practice, I had my class during the 6th period where I taught the problem-solving part of polygons. The students participated actively in solving the problems, and the class went smoothly. On this day, our option teacher also came for observation, which made the session more meaningful and gave me a good learning experience.
On the 17th day of my teaching practice, it was a simple day. I had a substitution class during the 4th period and in the 8th period I got my regular class, where I engaged the students with the topic outer angles of a polygon. The class went smoothly and the students were able to follow the concept with interest.
On the 18th day of my teaching practice, I had my class during the 1st period where I engaged the students with the topic sum of outer angles of a polygon and guided them through problem-solving based on it. Later, the school celebrated Sanskrit Day with various cultural programs, which created a festive atmosphere. The day’s programs concluded by 4 p.m., marking the end of a joyful and engaging day.
.On the 19th day of my teaching practice, the school conducted the students’ election and also organized a counselling session focused on teenage-related issues. I had my regular class during the 3rd period, where I taught the concept of regular polygons. Later, in the 5th period, I conducted a remedial class based on the diagnostic test I had carried out earlier. In the 8th period, I presented my innovative work on the topic “Outer Angle.” The students observed the model with curiosity, interacted well, and actively participated in understanding the concept. Overall, it was a meaningful day with both academic and extracurricular experiences.
On the 20th day of my teaching practice, the day was quite simple. I had my class during the 1st period where I engaged the students with the construction of regular polygons. The students showed interest in the activity and were able to follow the steps clearly, making the class smooth and effective.
