Teaching practice phase 2 week 6📕📚 12/1/2026- 16/1/2026
On the 22nd day of my teaching practice, I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. I had only one period to handle during the sixth hour, in which I taught the lesson from the chapter Parallelogram on the topic Sides and Angles. My option teacher observed the class on this day. The lesson included the construction part, and I explained the steps for constructing the figures clearly using appropriate diagrams on the blackboard. i also used a model chart to present the question I ensured that the concepts were well understood by the students by explaining each step systematically. The students were attentive and cooperative throughout the class, and at the end of the session, I summarized the important points and clarified their doubts.
On the 23rd day of my teaching practice, was simple day , I handled the first hour as a substitution period. Later, I had one regular class hour, during which I engaged the students with the lesson from the chapter Parallelogram. The topic taught was the new concept of Diagonals, focusing on their properties. To explain the properties clearly, I used a chart and explained property in detail. The chart helped the students understand the concept better. The students were attentive and participated actively throughout the class, and the lesson was completed successfully.
On the 24th day of my teaching practice, I had a class during the first hour, in which I engaged the students with the lesson from the chapter Parallelogram, focusing on the construction part. Later, during the fourth period, I presented my innovative work, a working model related to the topic Parallelogram. The model effectively demonstrated the concepts and helped the students gain a clear understanding. The students showed keen interest and actively participated during the session. The class atmosphere was interactive and disciplined, making the teaching–learning process effective.
On the 25th day of my teaching practice, which was a Saturday, it was a simple day. I had one class hour during which I engaged the students with the lesson from the chapter Parallelogram, focusing proof part. I explained the proof clearly and effectively to help the students understand the concept. The students were attentive throughout the session. Later, the remaining time was spent completing other school-related work.
