On August 30th, 2024, Fathima Memorial Training College in Mylapore, Kollam, hosted a creative practice session on the theme "A Well Educated Mind vs. A Well Formed Mind." The session featured a screening of a TED Talk by Sri Shashi Tharoor, who discussed the distinctions between education and character formation. Tharoor argued that a well-educated mind is characterized by knowledge acquisition and intellectual development, while a well-formed mind integrates values, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. He argued that education alone is insufficient if it doesn't cultivate wisdom, empathy, and a sense of responsibility towards society. Mathematics seminar  On 20th August 2024, my seminar class under the paper EDU 04.7 Theoretical Base of Mathematics Education was successful complete and I do my best. The topic of discussion was Heuristic Approach, which covered its essential condition merits, and demerits. The session was highly interactive, with my peer group actively participating and sharing their thoughtful questions, fostering a deeper understanding of the topic."
